Samuel D. Ellsworth, DDS, MS
Comprehensive care provided by Dr. Ellsworth includes wisdom teeth removal, crown lengthening, and dental implants. Dr. Ellsworth also offers oral surgery and cosmetic periodontal surgery, along with bone grafting and gum/tissue grafting. The overall goal for Dr. Ellsworth is to provide all-inclusive dental care for patients. This allows individuals to develop a trusting relationship with Dr. Ellsworth while also aiding in preventative dental care.
After joining the US Navy in 1992, Dr. Ellsworth received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Texas during his military service. He attended Naval Flight School prior to being stationed on the USS George Washington. It was during this time that Dr. Ellsworth was involved in post-9/11 efforts in New York. While in the military, Dr. Ellsworth discovered his passion for dentistry.
Dr. Ellsworth earned his degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Ellsworth trained in advanced dentistry in periodontics during his three-year residency at Baylor. Today, Dr. Ellsworth is a certified dental professional by the American Board of Periodontology.
When Dr. Ellsworth is not at the office, he spends as much time as possible with his wife Virginia, as well as Ryan, Lily and Grace, his 3 children. He teaches Sunday school and is involved in missions at Highland Park United Methodist Church. He has been involved in dental mission work such as The Texas Mission of Mercy and others for more than 9 years. He enjoys camping, hiking, bicycling, canoeing, scuba diving, reading, and traveling.
